Head Coach Mark Davis

Mark Davis enters his fourth year at the helm of the SLCC men's and women's soccer programs after starting the program during the spring of 2016.

In his third year at the helm of SLCC Soccer, Davis lead the men's team to a 15-3-1 record, winning the SWAC. The women's team finished with a 13-2-1 record, winning the SWAC and the Region 18 Tournament. Davis was named Conference coach of the year in Mens and Women. Coach Davis has a combined record at SLCC of 70-20-12.

Davis has a long history of successful coaching at the collegiate level. The Utah native previously coached at BYU-Hawaii, working with the men's soccer program. .740 (15-3-7) percentage in the PacWest. His team had made a top four conference finish three seasons in a row  for the first time in school history. He was named the PacWest Coach of the Year in 2013. Davis is the all-time winning coach in BYU-Hawaii soccer history.

Davis has strong ties in Utah, as he attended Copper Hills High School, where he started on the varsity squad all four years as a high school player.  He is is a founder of Olympia Football Club in Heber City, Utah.

Davis was also a head coach of Real Salt Lake women's soccer team from 2016-2019 He was named the head coach for the 2016 season. He was named UWS West Coach of the Year for his efforts during the 2016 season. In 2015 the RSL women won the WPSL Elite National championship.

He played at Iowa Western College and led the team to a conference championship in 2009. He went on to graduate from BYU-Hawaii and moved to Concordia University-Irvine where he gained his master's degree in coaching and athletic administration. Coach Davis also has recently recieved his United States Soccer Federation A license.

Davis is fluent in Spanish. He is married to his wife, Natalie, and has two children - Dax and Rudy.
